Kavita Kosh is the first online encyclopedia of Indian poetry.
Established by Lalit Kumar Samyak Lalit in July 2006, it is managed by the community of poetry lovers.
It is an open project -- meaning anybody can voluntarily contribute to the development of the project.
The project is by the society and for the society.
It is purely non-commercial, social and voluntary project like Wikipedia.
